More oldie goldies

Still finding interesting bits and pieces during my determined effort to get on top of the clutter and create a proper craft room for my paper and fabric. Came across this card which I gave to daughter Kat 6 years ago on her 21st birthday.  Love doing special concertina mini album cards like this. Not sure Kat is going to be impressed if she finds out a photo of her in the bath is on the internet!

100th post

The card I made for daughter Kat's birthday didnt quite turn out as expected but I still like it. I used punches and die cuts for the matting and layering and the rose is my first attempt with my new Spellbinders Donna Salazar rose set.  Think I need to go on Youtube again and watch the tutorial more carefully. The butterflies were from the K&Co goodies which friend Marilyn brought from the USA.  Kat described the card as a 'definite keeper'- job done!

50'S PROM

Daughter, Kat is going to a hen weekend soon and the theme is going to be 50's Prom. She has been on-line and ordered her poodle skirt so I had the theme for her birthday card gifted to me. I used images from the My Craft Studio Glam 50's CD and embellished with black peel offs. Only just got round to photographing it- must try harder with the photography and investigate making a light tent.
